Connecticut Veterans Commemorative Booklets
About the collection
This collection features souvenir booklets issued to Connecticut servicemen being discharged from the armed forces at the conclusion of World War II.
Using this collection
To search for the name of an individual, use the "Search collection for a name" tool to the right. Most names listed in these booklets include a proper first name ("Robert" instead of "Bob") and a middle initial, as well as the last name. You may need to try several alternate spellings.
If you are looking for a named or numbered division, use the keyword search tool to the right. Enter the division name (for example: "104th Division") in the textbox, selecting the "exact phrase" radio button, and click on "Search." Note: using "div" instead of "division" will yield more results. Also, punctuation and capitalization are unnecessary for searching.
