Description	A search warrant issued by William Pitkin for the search and seizure of white "callecos" which are reported to belong to William Caddey, some of which had been in the custody of Samuel Gibbords and some with Constable William Goodwin. The warrant also gives authority to search "any house, chest or any plase you shall suspect they or any other prohibited goods are consealed.
Transcript	To the County Sheref to serve and Return:/ / Those are in his Majesies Name to Require you forthwith/ to search after and sease for the king aparall of white Callecos/ which are Reported to belong to William Caddy some of/ which were late ly in the costody of small Gibbords and/ some in the custody of William Goodwin Constable and you/ are also to break open any house chest or any plase you shall/ suspect they or any other pr[o]habited goods are consealed and/ sease the same and you are {you are}to sure that goods/ you sease that they may be forth coming att the Court of/ Assistants to be held in Hartford on the first Thursday in October/ next is by sd court disposed according to Law: here at faile not/ Hartford July 22th 1698/ William Pitkin Assists/
