Doorway	Shaved brick over front door. Patterns in vitrified brick, front and ends. String course. Moulded brick,water table.
Interior	Central hall - now covered with wall paper, replica of that used in Lee Mansion, Marblehead (1768). Good, original staircase with tall turned balusters. Lowest step turns out. Double doors front and back. Front are originals except for lower panels, replaced. Elaborate crown panels with row of lights over, with rose and sprig in center. Southwest Room Study - original paneling and wall cupboard, unpainted. High wall cupboard in west wall, restored. Arched, brick fireplace. Southeast Room - Original Kitchen has old wide fireplace without brick oven, and restored panel cupboards above. Original closet and corner cupboard where old stairs were built. The more elaborate corner cupboard came from Graves-Ives House, Durham (1715). North Room - now converted into one by removal of a later partition, have a modern oak floor, stencilled walls, and deep paneled windows on the front. The fireplaces are original, one with richly moulded overmantel, flanked with fluted pilasters and rosettes; the smaller, back fireplace is plain. The larger has a curious offset, and arched opening, apparently original. The mantel came from the burned Williams House, (c.1780) on Ridge Road, New Haven. Ell Dining Room - is original except for insertion of 18th century corner cupboard and maple flooring from Winsted. Wide, plain fireplace with brick oven and wood box. Cellar fireplaces in both main house and ell, the lattter having brick oven. Kitchen - was three small rooms; cupboards (early 19th century) were in front room and contained folding bed. Large pantry. Southwest chamber - red paneling from Graves-Ives House, Durham (1715). Spatter-work walls. Arched fireplace and old tiles. Southeast chamber - never had fireplace. Featheredge boards, not original except for stair wall and closet. Attic all original. Northwest Chamber - original paneling. Fireplace similar to those on first floor. Tile hearth original; painted walls exactly restored with Indian red mopboard painted on the plaster. Recessed and paneled windows in perspective - only case known in Connecticut. Northeast Chamber - small original arched fireplace. Ell Chambers and leanto - as original. One has signatures of early owners as found under wall paper.
