Exterior	The original front door and door treatment is gone, and a modern porch has been added to the front. This house was either built by the same architect that built the Captain Caskill Homestead and the Prudence Crandall Homestead, or someone that copied his style very closely. The house is a two-chimney central-hall type house. Cornice is quite elaborate but not to such an extreme as was that of the other two houses. The pediment, which is similar to the others, does not have a beaded fan. The Palladian window, however, is quite the same as in the other two houses. Corner boards are fluted in much the same way as we find in the other two homes and the base is very high. This house is in every way more conservative, but all in all similar in its detail.
