Fenestration	9 window front; closely paired; 2/2 sash; mouldings added to window casements.
Foundation	Fieldstone; clay used as tie.
Condition - Physical	Fair
Exterior	Reshingled; stained brown. Tin drain at eaves hides cornice. Extensively remodeled; has lost appearance of antiquity; only general outline remains. House is butted to rear on hillside.
Doorway	Plain door; late design.
Interior	Old oven in 1st story kitchen. Another in 2nd story room above kitchen; large door opens to rear at ground level. Large flaring corner posts in 2nd story.
History	Said to be oldest house in Essex.
