Date [built] (Source)	1760 (Terc.) (DR); c. 1800 (J. D.); on site of a Timothy Starkey House 1760 or 1765 (owner). This cannot be it.

Location	Northeast corner of Main Street and street to new dock.

Height	Two stories and half
Fenestration	9 window front; 2/2 sash; simple center Palladian window; small fluted pilasters; good cornice. Fan - plain arched sash. Plain side lights.
Foundation	Cut-stone
Condition - Physical	Good
Doorway	Simple design. Casement has 7 fluted Doric pilasters; small pediment above. Not elaborate cornice; good mouldings. Simple fan window of 5 parts; festoons. Door of 6 flush paneling. Old knocker; Medusa head (similar to one on Col. Champion House, East Haddam). Wide 19th century overhang at roof.
Interior	No paneling or summer beams. Plain 19th cenutry mantels. 7' 8-10" ceilings. Rather heavy corner posts. Open stringer stair; square balusters.
