hundred

barn
on the
northwest
.

rocks
with a
wall
of
rocks
surrounding
it
.
Doorway
The
front
door
opens
into the
hall
.
Interior
Hall

closed
stringer
stairs
run
up
from the
left
. The
hall
is
sheathed
in
vertical
featheredge
boards
.
Stairway
is
enclosed
in
featheredge
boards
with a
hand
rail
at the
top
,
which
is
very
high
;
no
spindles
.
Walls
-
plain
and
featheredged
boarding
.
One
room
has
featheredged
boards
all
around
fireplace
side
; the
other
three
walls
are
wainscoted
in
featheredged
boards
.
Kitchen
chamber
in
beaded
boards

eight
inches
deep
.
Some
hearth
brick
, in
bad
condition
, are the
square
type
.
History
It
is
said
that the
arched
chimney
was
so
built
to
hide
the
women
and
children
when
Indians
or
other
enemies
came
.
