Date [built] (Source)	One of the first houses in town and probably c. 1700 (HET and Mrs. Noe); c. 1786 (EDK) from coin found in chimney
Orig Owner	Twichells; and Coes; Charles Carter in 1901.
Present Owner [1935-37]	Alfred Noe
Location	Route 8, east side facing west; first house south of H. D. Bronson Co.

Roof	Peak / curved pitch at front longer than pitch at rear.

Exterior	The walls are shingled. Small porch on south side.
Interior	Remodeled. Four small paneled cupboards in kitchen around a small fireplace, now plastered over. The old central brick chimney and fireplaces have been removed. Small, cased summer beams on second floor. Wide floor boards on second floor. Large cornerposts and girts. Doors of four raised panels. Ceilings 88 1/2 ".
