Doorway
In
west
front
has a
large
door
and
two
double
hung
sidelights
with
two
over
two
sash

pilasters
. A
well
designed
side
entrance
on the
south
side
has a
six
sunken
paneled
door
with
complex
mouldings
;
arched
head
and
leaded
transom
;
two
very
narrow
fluted
pilasters
;
paneled
jambs
and
soffit
.
Interior
There
is
a
large
spacious
central
hall
with
wide
open
stairs
and
open
stringer
,
moulded
rail
with
ramps
and
spiral
turn
at the
bottom
. The
stairs
in the
rear
portion
of the
hall
are
separated
from the
front
by a
large
elliptical
arch
springing
from the
top
of the
wood
pilasters
. The
rooms
are
large
and
square
with
high
ceilings
. The
principal
rooms
on the
first
floor
have
fireplaces
with
elaborate
early
19th
century
mantels
. The
doors
and
window
casings
are
wide
, and
formed
with
delicate
mouldings
.
