Exterior	Walls - original clapboards. Dentils in main cornice. Fence and gate at front.
Doorway	Dutch door with six panels, raised on both sides, fine long strap hinges.
Interior	(Original furniture.) Hall - six raised paneled door. Enclosed stairs at end; can be entered from hall or tap room. Kitchen - some wainscoting; horizontal pine sheathing. Tap room - paneled room end; other walls vertical and horizontal with beaded boards. Southwest room - paneled room end; paneled wainscoting. Northeast Room - paneled room end; wainscoting. Paneled shutters. Flush paneled doors. Maple floors. White stone jambs and lintels at fireplace, projecting out from brick work. Simple mantel and square brick tile hearth. The original curved corner bar with wooden grille has been preserved, and an old tavern sign with a lion on one side and an eagle on the reverse bears the name "Rice."
